For a man who pays close attention to his appearance, such an essential accessory cannot be overlooked. While the belt undoubtedly plays a practical role in holding up trousers, it also adds an unrivalled finishing touch to any outfit. Whether paired with a suit and tie or jeans and a blazer, this accessory makes a bold statement about your elegance and taste for beautiful accessories of French luxury Maisons.

The luxury belt: Exquisite leathers and subtle patinas

The Maison S.T. Dupont has been a leader in the luxury sector since 1872. It has seen its reputation rise to the top of French luxury Maisons thanks to the know-how and excellence of its workshops. The brand began manufacturing leather goods, designing leather luggage pieces. Before long, its prestigious clients requested the brand to create belts for men and women. These models are made using smooth, grained, braided or embossed calf or cowhide leather. Featuring a saddle-stitched finish, they are lined with leather and stitched in the Maison workshops. Its artisans use the Diamond Head technique, an exclusive tanning method first adopted in 1929 that gives leather an exceptional shine. Patinas are applied by hand to achieve a smooth touch and subtle graphic designs that make this S.T. Dupont accessory truly unique.

High-quality jewelled buckles for an unrivalled finish

We have embellished all of our luxury belts for men and women with handmade buckles. Crafted like real pieces of jewellery, they are available in palladium, platinum or gilded in fine gold. You also have the choice between a traditional prong buckle or clip fastener. The self-locking systems allow you to slide the strap and adjust it to your waistline easily and discreetly. These smart systems also make luxury practical with interchangeable two-tone straps, giving you several belts in one when travelling. All items and accessories produced in the S.T. Dupont workshops preserve the tradition of exquisite design for which the French company and its collections are renowned.

How to choose a premium men’s belt

The luxury Line D belt is a classic and sophisticated accessory, which pairs well with casual trousers or a classic wool suit and can be colour-coordinated to your shoes and outfit. Its subdued design and finish will bring an additional discreet and elegant touch to your look. The straps have been produced in a variety of shades and patinas and are available in two widths. Our signature S.T. Dupont logo is engraved on the metal bar. The reversible Business model plays with contrasts, combining all the techniques that have made the brand’s reputation. Producing the ultimate accessory for every refined gentleman requires an intricate lacquering and chiselling process, precious metals and patinas. We have pushed attention to detail to the extreme, as excellence demands. The branded two-tone loops, which can match the colour of the strap to the finish of the closure, are a case in point.
